We’re in! CollectiveUP’s Erasmus+ project “FutureEd” has been approved
We’re thrilled to share that our Erasmus+ KA210 proposal, “FutureEd: Co-Creating Rights-Centered Education for a Sustainable Future”, has officially been approved by the National Agency in Luxembourg (ANEFORE). Starting this September, we’ll launch this transformative journey alongside our amazing partners: ALLI asbl (Luxembourg) and EUDEC (Germany).
At CollectiveUP, we believe education should empower every learner to thrive in a world shaped by dignity, democracy, and digital ethics. FutureEd brings that vision to life.
What is FutureEd all about?
FutureEd aims to reimagine education through the lens of human and digital rights. Together with teachers, students, and changemakers from across Europe, we’ll:
✅ Co-create accessible educational guides on human rights, democracy, and digital literacy
✅ Foster student-led governance and civic participation through models inspired by democratic schools
✅ Equip over 300 educators with practical, classroom-ready tools
✅ Engage 5,000+ stakeholders via a strong online presence, events, and policy advocacy
What will we create?
✨ An Explanatory Guide for rights-centered education
✨ A Child-Friendly Digital Rights Awareness Guide
✨ Interactive case studies
✨ A vibrant Rights-Centric Schools Network for long-term impact
Why this matters
We’re tackling big challenges—like the fact that over 50% of teachers in Europe feel unprepared to teach human and digital rights, and many students remain unaware of their fundamental freedoms.
By working together across borders, we’re turning EU values—like dignity, participation, and equality—into everyday realities in the classroom.
The FutureEd partnership
Our role at CollectiveUP
We’ll be leading the development of the Digital Rights Awareness Guide, packed with engaging resources like comics, role-play scenarios, and classroom debates on ethical tech. We’re also powering the project’s digital engagement: designing interactive communication strategies, leading social media campaigns, and helping spread the word to schools and communities across Europe.
Who’s With Us?
This collaborative project is powered by:
🟡 ALLI asbl (Luxembourg): Advocates for educational freedom and rights-based learning
🟢 EUDEC (Germany): Champions of democratic education across Europe
🔵 CollectiveUP (Belgium): Your social digital innovation hub (that’s us!)
What’s next?
🔜 In September 2025, the fieldwork begins. We’ll run focus groups, co-creation sessions, and launch pilot initiatives in schools in Luxembourg, Germany, and Belgium. A highlight? The Rights-Centric Education Day in Luxembourg—bringing together educators, students, NGOs, and policy leaders to shape the future of education, together.
