Three powerful DIGISET events
CollectiveUP is thrilled to invite you to a series of three DIGISET events this November and December, under our EU-funded DIGISET – Digital Growth Initiatives for Social Economy Transformation project. These sessions are designed to spark collaboration, learning, and concrete action at the intersection of AI, digital transformation, free digital tools, and the cultural & creative sectors.
All these events provide a lump sum grant of 948 euros to help social SMEs with their travels to the event when their offices are located 20km away from the event venue. Apply here for this funding:
Here’s a look at what’s coming — with links to register, how to follow on social media, and why you should join.
1. Harnessing AI for Social Impact
🗓️ Date: 24 November 2025
🔲 Format: Full-day interactive workshop | Impact Hub Vienna
👥 Audience: Social economy SMEs (especially social enterprises)
What to expect:
- Facilitated by CollectiveUP’s own Lilliana Carrillo, beginning with a clear, accessible presentation on “AI myth vs. reality” and why it matters for social purposes.
- A session on AI-powered fundraising — exploring how chatbots, personalized campaigns, and predictive tools can boost donations.
- A deep dive into impact measurement, hosted by Jacob Hensler (TUM, Germany), where participants co-create ways to use AI in monitoring social outcomes.
- A creative exercise on community engagement with AI, ending with reflection, peer sharing, and next-step planning.
Why join:
This workshop is your chance to demystify AI and see not just the risks, but the real, actionable opportunities it offers to social SMEs. Whether you're curious about fundraising or impact measurement, this peer-led, hands-on event will leave you with tools and a network.

2. Libérer les organisations de l’ESS des GAFAM
🗓️ Date: 26 November 2025
🔲 Format: Workshop in Paris
👥 Audience: Digital leads in social economy organizations — DSI, digital managers, social cooperatives, foundations.
What to Expect:
- Expert roundtable (Pecha-Kucha style) with pioneers in free and open digital tools: Valentin Chapu (Open Source Politics / La Suite.coop), Vincent Lucie (Coopaname / Cooptech), Arnaud Lévy (Noesya), Pierre-Yves Gosset (Framasoft, Résolution Numérique), and more.
- Collaborative group sessions to design a mini roadmap for adopting open-source tools in your organization, addressing needs like member management, communications, or digital education.
- Restitution and collective reflection on the feasibility of free digital tools within ESS (social economy), with clear next steps.
Why join:
In a digital ecosystem dominated by large tech platforms (the “GAFAM”), this workshop reclaims agency for social economy actors. By exploring open-source digital infrastructure, participants can envision more sovereignty, lower costs, and more aligned values for their organizations.
