Participants joined a hands-on workshop in Paris (Musée Social – CEDIAS) to explore concrete ways to move away from Big Tech and adopt free, open-source and sovereign digital tools aligned with Social Economy values. They heard short, practical contributions from experts including Valentin Chaput (La Suite.coop / Open Source Politics), Vincent Lucy (Coopaname / CoopTech), Arnaud Lévy (Noesya), and Pierre-Yves Gosset (Framasoft), sharing real migration cases, tool-selection criteria, and change-management tips. The session then shifted to facilitated group work where participants built mini-roadmaps (needs, constraints, tools, steps, resources, obstacles, success factors) for their own challenges—membership management, collaboration, communication, LMS, or project management. The event fostered peer learning and ended with clear takeaways: start with a pilot, secure internal buy-in, rely on communities, and treat migration as a process—with many participants planning to test at least one libre tool in the following months.
